When the City of Modesto held the very first 4^th of July Celebration, 134 years ago downtown, they didn’t realize that it would become the longest running parade in California State history. Each year this event brings together residents, business, schools, organizations, and the community to celebrate and enjoy our nation’s freedom.

The success of the Annual 4th of July Celebration, and the Modesto Jaycees as a whole, will be made possible through the generosity of individuals and businesses such as yours. In these challenging economic times, we appreciate that you must pick and choose carefully where your funds will best be valued. We are hoping we can count on your support as a sponsor. Sponsorship levels are outlined in the accompanying information.

The Modesto Jaycees is a non-profit (501c4) leadership organization that believes strongly in giving back to the community. Events celebrated on the 4th of July such as the Parade, Picnic-in-the-Park, and Concerts offer our members the opportunity to utilize and build leadership skills while serving the community. This belief is so profound, that Jaycee members from across the country place emphasis on the final line of our creed, which states “and that service to humanity is the best work of life.” We are fortunate to have community members who demonstrate that same belief.
