Kick-Off Meeting - January 7, 2009

The Modesto Marketing Meeting kicked off the new year with outstanding attendance, exciting news and an introspective message.  We are off and running, ready for a productive and powerful 2009.  Highlights from the meeting include the following:

 

A total of 75 agents and affiliates attended the meeting. A great start for 2009!

Nate Terry of the Sylvan Road Keller Williams office brought along his entire team to show support for the Modesto Marketing Meeting.  We had the pleasure of meeting the team and look forward to getting to know this dedicated and motivated group of agents.

 

Jeannie MacDonald announced the final figure for the 2008 Christmas Can Tree fundraiser. The Modesto Realtors® collected a grand total of $8,270.00 including a surprise donation from MetroList in the amount of $2,500. Thank you to all who helped make this year’s Can Tree event a success!

 

Phil Steinhart continued his tradition of sharing inspirational and thought-provoking readings for the New Year returning this year to share his 2002 original poem “The Box”.

 

Bob Johnson spoke on the importance of selecting a knowledgeable Appraiser and outlined current FHA requirements for certification, information tracking and proper documentation.  Johnson suggests visiting www.FHA.gov and viewing the link to "My Money, My Home, My Future" for pertinent homeownership information. Johnson also recommends visiting www.HUD.gov for information on approved lenders, mortgage reforms, and ownership information.

 

Kim Arivett, Branch Owner and Certified Mortgage Consultant from RPM Mortgage announced the upcoming FHA Mortgage Finance Options seminar scheduled for Wednesday, January 21st, 2009 from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the Masonic Lodge in Modesto.  Cost & registration is free.
