CVMM 02/18/09
The Central Valley Marketing Meeting on February 18th, 2009 had 60 people in attendance and was sponsored by Affiliated Mortgage Partners. The monthly Modesto CanTree raffle raised $320 for this years' CanTree event....Way to go!
Guest speaker, Rod Landes, presented a motivational message focusing on what encouraging others can do for them as well as for yourself. Rod Landes has been helping students reach for their dreams over the past 16 years as an English teacher and Speech/Debate instructor. Rod has been the coach of two National Speech Champions and two California State Speech Champions. He is a double diamond coach of the National Forensic League. Over the past 4 years Rod has spoken to over 180 different groups and to nearly 8500 people.
After a short stint in the business world, Rod has returned to the classroom and is currently teaching Applied Communications at Enoch’s High School.
This past year Rod’s heart has turned to the hopeless, helpless, and hurting in his sphere of influence. Rod is focused on making the world a better place to live one classroom at a time.
